Story
A song about love as an astronomical event; an ethereal song of yearning, adoration and mystery.
It was motivated by the streetlight outside and the feeling that by falling in love, I was being squashed very pleasantly into a black hole. It was recorded mostly in a hotel room in Sebring, although I redid the vocals in my parents’ house in Lantana, Florida. You can hear the door knocker clanking in the background of the last verse. I kept it there because miraculously, the noise was in rhythm and seemed almost intentional.
